Durga Puja 2018 - Themes of the Puja Part 2

You know Durga Puja is coming soon by seeing hoardings and banners of the Puja. So, on my every day to work I had come across some of the hoardings and sharing on the Internet.

Santoshpur Lake Pally is creating their Durga Puja Pandal using Haldi(Turmeric) which isthe first time in India, thats what the poster says. The mandap will be created using 4 tonnes of turmeric. The idol of Maa Durga will also be in yellow.

Another popular Durga Puja in Santoshpur is Santoshpur Trikon Park, they have released a poster saying "Games of Shadow Dolls" with a theme saying "let's look back".

Sinthi Bondhudal, near Sinthi crossing in North Kolkata, is creating a thousand arm Goddess, but their theme is to showcase peace.

One of the prominent puja in North Kolkata, Jagat Mukherjee Park released a teaser about their theme, as well as a poster which tells that they will be showing Durga Puja after 200 years. Their theme is Time Machine.

Coming to the South Kolkata, Pally Mangal Samitee has displayed a banner saying "barta paychi se asche" meaning received the message that it's coming.

Akash Pathe meaning skyway that seems to be the theme of Ultadanga Pallysree.

Salt lake EC Block Durgotsav is creating their pandal using bamboo. in fact, their pandal will be a fort made up of bamboo.

Salt Lake Labony Durgotsav is creating their pandal based on extraterrestrials beings. Their poster says "Bhin Grahar Pranee khoje".

Rama went to Lanka to rescue his abducted wife Sita from Ravana. Before the great battle, Rama worshipped Goddess Durga for her blessings. College Square, a prominent puja Pandal in Kolkata is themed on Ram's Akal Badhan Story.

Talabarowari this year theme is "Ami amar moton baki mayer moton." they will be showcasing the lifecycle of a mother, how she raises her child and often ends up getting neglected at her old age.
