Tala Park Prattay has named their Theme for 2018 is Atal Ananta, which normally means bottomless Infinity. We always look upward but never think of what's beneath. We get the finished product but we don't always think about how it has come. This year their pandal will showcase something like this.
We live in the world and the world is made up of people from different background. This year Golaghata Samilani will show this variety of people living. The pandal will be decorated with palm leaves painting.
Tridhara Samilani is one of the popular pujas in South Kolkata. This year their theme is "Prakriti Ratan e sajabo jagat", meaning We will decorate the world with nature's Jewels. To create the pandal they will use natural items.
Belgachia Sadharan Durgotsav theme is Aborto. Creation is a cyclic process. Madhuban Paintings will highlight the circle of this creation.
We go out to our balcony to feel fresh, refresh our mind to get the warmth of the sun, to feel the wind, or touch of raindrops. Kahi Bose lane's theme is "Dakhin er Baranda". Their pandal will show different balconies in the city. they were inspired by the surroundings
Telengabagan Puja theme is Alor Patha Jatri, meaning Traveller towards brightness. India's air is filled with the smell of gunpowder, trapped in caste and religion, people's hearts are filled with hatred. The country needs people to take India to a brighter prosperous nation.
Beliaghata 33 Palli is in North East Kolkata. In Vastu Sastra, Ishaan Kon or Northeast corner is the most sacred corner. Ishaan is also the name of Lord Shiva. So this year they will bring Ishaani meaning Durga. Their theme is " Ishaan Kone Ishaani" meaning "Ishaani(Durga) in Ishaan Corner (Northeast).
Salt Lake AE Part 1 Durga Puja theme is Duti Haater Gappo meaning stories of "two hands". Human use hands to do goods and bads. A mother holds his child's hands when she teaches him/her to walk. Similarly, like many good things bad things are also done by the hands. Their Pandal will show both the good and bad.
